About this Project:

Woodlawn Six is one of the last 100% project based developments in existence currently undergoing a complete rehab located on the south side of Chicago in the 62nd/Kimbark area. The development consist of 100 units ranging in sizes from studios to 5 bedroom units spread out amongst 5 different buildings within a one block radius of each other. The units are being equipped with central heat/air systems, new black appliances (stove/refrigerator), hard wood flooring, kitchen countertops, new front/rear entry doors, and so much more. Each unit has also been upgraded with a centrally located access panel for wireless connections whether it be cable, internet, telephone, etc… Lastly, each building has also been upgraded with motion detected camera security systems which can be viewed from any location via the internet that will be connected to the 911 call system should events occur requiring immediate police assistance. It is surrounded by historical monuments such as The Apostolic Church of God where Bishop Arthur M Brazier was Pastor (succeeded by his son Byron Brazier) along with a number of other religious places of worship, elementary/secondary schools, as well as the University of Chicago. Public transportation (63rd Street) exists mere steps away from any of the dwelling locations whether it be city bus (north or south) or train (west) with 63rd Street Beach, the Museum, and the Lake (east) for available for recreation/family enjoyment.
