Myers Place

Myers Place

About this Project:

Myers Place is a new mixed-use development in Mount Prospect that provides 39 units of permanent supportive housing for persons living with disabilities. The vision for Myers Place came from the Kenneth Young Center, whose CEO, Mitch Bruski, attended the CSH Institute and selected Mr. Davis’ company as developer and co-owner of the project. Myers Place is the first permanent supportive housing project of this size in the market area and a first for the northwestern suburbs at large.

The development provides individualized supportive services in the form of classes, case management, counseling, transportation assistance, and health screenings. These services are provided voluntarily to tenants. The development features onsite management and case managers, laundry rooms, a large community room and patio, bike parking, extra tenant storage and generous landscaping. All units, a combination of studio and 1-bedroom apartments are furnished for residents. The first floor features a leased commercial space.

Completed August 2013.
